ABOUT US
Welcome to The Nomad Center For Counseling. We are a trilingual group practice offering psychotherapy and counseling in English, French and Spanish.
The Nomad Center For Counseling was created out of a desire to meet the growing needs of the multicultural and diverse community of New Jersey. Our mission is built on the belief that each person has an innate ability to heal and that all individuals, regardless of country or culture deserve someone to help light the path forward. Our goal is to provide a compassionate, creative therapeutic setting where a trusting relationship can be established between therapist and client allowing for the journey of growth and healing to unfold.
SERVICES AND EXPERTISE
We offer therapy to children, adolescents and adults. Our modalities are individual, family and couple's therapy. All therapies are offered in person or virtually through our secure tele-health platform Simple Practice.
Our approach is based largely on the foundational principles of psychodynamic psychotherapy, Jungian thought, relational and attachment based theory, as well as mindfulness and art therapy. Our expertise focuses on depression, anxiety, acculturation difficulties, cultural adaptation, ADHD, academic and social adjustments and self esteem issues. We can also help difficult life changes such as expatriation, divorce and grief.
